Is there any commercial game made in NaaLaa?

Can NaaLaa be used to make professional commercial game?

I am curious.

     Possible, but unlikely.
It's made for beginners, and people like me who want a good brain workout. ( hobby programmer)

If I do anything serious, I use CSharp.

Thanks for telling me the truth.

I don't have too much programming knowledge actually.

(08-04-2018, 05:39 PM)I seem to recall that 3-4 years ago some pretty neat NaaLaa games were released on Android Play Store - among them one called Blastemroids. Unfortunately I can no longer see it there, but there is a link here (which I have not checked or tested): Wrote: https://www.apkmonk.com/app/com.eow.blastemroids/
Also, a link to the old website:

...note - links there are dead too.......

Yeah, I gave John the tip to port the runtime to madewithmarmalade (a cross platform framework that I've used a lot at work). He did so and released some small, free, test games on google play just for fun. But it was a very partial port of naalaa, and madewithmarmalade is since long gone.

Naalaa doesn't have the "constructs" required for big games. But I guess you could use it to make a small "casual" game and sell it Smile

Here are some playlists showing what's possible:

I'd say that Toad's Adventure (first link) is the "biggest" thing I've written in naalaa.

Love the twisted donuts!

If I order one with chocolate icing, would it come out vanilla at the other end? Big Grin
