n7 version 22.10.14
#1
https://naalaa.com/n7/N7_221014.zip

The documentation has not been changed - it's still just an out-dated pdf file. My next goal is to make some proper documentation in html.

Lots of small examples have been added. If you press F1 when the caret is somewhere over a built-in command or function in NED the syntax is displayed in a tooltip. If you press F1 a second time (as expressed in the tooltip), an example program is loaded into a new tab. You can also find all these examples in the examples/help folder.

Great - the F1/tooltips will be very useful - I spend a lot of time currently in the documentation reminding myself of the syntax needed for various commands thanks to my abysmal memory, so this will help a lot.

I wish I could somehow make F1 (just the syntax thing) work on files imported by the current program ...

That would be even better. In the absence of such functionality, it's not too much trouble to keep the imported files open in the editor for reference, in addition to any documentation provided. We wouldn't want it too easy, would we? Smile
