The user stated "a few years ago". I think he would have used Naalaa 6. Since then it has had a major upgrade. Version 7 is not only quicker by looks a lot nicer... I have version 5, 6 and 7 on my machine. Ok. Version 5 is for nostalgia reasons... I mainly used version 6. But I do like version 7.... Version 7 has the usual editor and a tilemap editor built in. A raycaster editor will probably be developed soon. (just like version 6)
You are correct. It would be wonderful...
Screen shots of Version 6 (light) and 7 (dark) attached...

You are correct. There are indeed some interesting stuff on there... My guess would be that the user is "collecting" games of interest. Some I recognise... As he is probably not the creator of the games, I cannot ask the user, how they were made. Playing a game is one thing, but knowing how to make your own games, is so cool... But still... There was some cool stuff there... Thank you for sharing.

I don't think so. He is not only a collector. In addition, he is a very productive person. I have this conclusion by looking into every game closely. Many games are entries of game jams on Itch. For example:
Furthermore, the word 'clone' was used in the descriptions of these three games. He may not be the original authors of the three classic games but these three games were made by him(high possibility).
