Windows version 1.0.1 released
#1
You can now download version 1.0.1 for Windows.

Some serious and annoying compiler bugs that have existed in all earlier versions have now been fixed (they were taken care of while porting the compiler and runtime to Linux). That's why we're finally at 1.0. Other than these fixes, this is what's been added/changed:
  • GLOOM library/extension/editor/examples has been added for creating more advanced raycaster games
  • Function split has been added for splitting strings
  • Tilemap library has been updated, bug-cleansed, to match the Linux-version
  • The inkey function is now buffered
I hope I didn't break anything this time Smile

For an hour or so, version 1.0.0 was available for download. It contained some non-functional examples that were using the old inkey-function (it now takes one parameter instead of none). Also, I had missed adding the (new) floating point version of the rnd function.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I had to uninstall the old version and chase off a Windows warning to install the new one... looking forward to using it!

I can live with Windows dialogs warning about few users and "untrusted" developers. The real hell begins if you install Norton! For Norton shows no mercy whatsoever, it removes every program you try to compile, without asking, before you even get a chance to run them Big Grin

Yes, I don't use Norton anymore. It slows down my system too much and is not nearly as helpful as it believes itself to be.
