Platformer graphics - NES style
#1
Here's the graphics from an NES style platform game that I released on google play some years ago. Max 3 colors per sprite and 4 colors per tile, obeying the NES limitations regarding number of palettes et.c. I declare it public domain now.

You can download the game apk file from here: https://naalaa.com/tmp/lsc.apk

Edit A json library is on the way ...

Nah, it is an android game, written in java. I'm just putting the graphics here if someone wants to use it. If you want to try the game, download the apk to your android phone and install it.

Finally used the json parser library (posted somewhere) to extract the individual images from the atlas.

I've just seen these and downloaded the files. There are so many of them, and they are great quality - I will certainly be using  these in the future. Thank you Marcus for your generosity in declaring them public domain - they must have taken a long time to produce.

Thanks! Using extremely limited palettes actually makes it a lot easier to draw sprites, in my opinion. If nothing else, you can blame the limitations if it turns out bad Smile
