Thanks Johnno, and thanks too for giving us the code for the carousel.

There's only 3 games, as I believe that there is a size restriction on the forum for attachments, and I wanted to make sure that I stayed within that.

If anyone is using this for thier own use, it's not necessary to include the .exe game files in the same folder. Instead, you can just use your own unique path to point to the .exe files on your hard drive :

Code:
system "start c:\games\asteroids\asteroids.exe"

This code will launch the game.

Yep. Aware of the restrictions... lol

I was poking fun at all of us to perhaps encourage each of us to contribute to our overal collection of examples... After all, if we want to convince people to use N7, we need to promote, promote and promote.

Interesting that you used the phrase "giving us"... That brings up the subject of either purchase or monthly / annual subscriptions... Nah! Kidding again! I would never charge for programs... I would be expecting the indentured servitude of your first born until the age of 65... Nah! Kidding again! Let's make it 45, shall we? Now, where did I put that contract? Moo ha ha ha... This is way too much fun... lol Use the program as you see fit... Enjoy! (is there an email address to which I can sent the contract?)

That's a very cool menu!

A nice additional effect would be to scale the icons based on their z values, using 'draw image xform'.

Whoa! Where have you been hiding 'that' gem of information? lol

Anyway... As per your request... I hope that I read the instructions right...

.zip   carousel2.zip (Size: 356.25 KB / Downloads: 1)

Hover the mouse over the arrows for a smoother movement - LMB to 'execute' (arrow keys for normal 'janky' movement - Space to execute ... lol)
