I registered too, but knowing myself, I might procrastinate and not end up making anything. We'll see! Big Grin

I've joined several jams without submitting anything. If I feel uninspired or life gets busy I don't wanna force or rush something in.

So, the themes to choose from are:
  • Limited Space
  • Protect It
  • Contrast

I like them all! "Limited Space" ... an ice floe, falling apart, becoming smaller and smaller, penguins ... with weapons ... last man standing!

I once wrote an online multiplayer raycaster game in n6 that would have suited "Protect It"

I think that submitting a 2D game for this jam is better. You submitted a 3D game in BASIC Language Jam #6. If you submitted a 3D game again in Jam #7, many people(not NaaLaa users) may think that NaaLaa is only for making 3D games. Not a clever promotion for NaaLaa.

I started working on my entry this evening, wrote circle collision physics and a circle-inside-polygon test, both things required for my penguin game (it will use 3d graphics but be 2d logically).

It may not look like much yet Big Grin

Looking good - really hope that you are able to release the code after the Jam finishes, regardless of whether you submit the entry or not. The circle-inside-polygon test looks interesting - I seem to recall that a similar routine was coded in an earlier NaaLaa version, and was really useful.
I've started to work on a 2D "Protect it" entry - very early stage, but I'll try to show a YouTube video soon......
