FPS: Total Invasion
« on: November 14, 2014 »

Yep, this is my first NaaLaa game, and my second 7DFPS entry.
Anyways, it's a Wolfenstein-like shooter, but instead of a gun you have a sickle you throw like a boomerang.
It's got a lot of easter-eggs, too.
File's too large, so here's a link to the 7DFPS entry: http://itch.io/jam/7dfps/rate/13720

Finally I had a chance to play it :) And I love it. I hope it's okay if I record a video and put it on YouTube?

I hope it goes well in the competition!

The graphics are very inspiring! I'm not being ironic or anything. I give so many projects up because I get sick of drawing, but f*ck all that :)

Thanks, I pretty much decided on Day 1 I wanted a simplistic art style. A lot of my other attempts at this game were darker and more detailed, but I always had a hard time with that. Also, I used the DB32 pallete, which really just looks nice.

X54321:

I have most of the Wolf3D textures if you would like a copy? I know the wall textures are 64x64. The objects are also 64x64 and use magenta for the transparent colour. I have them both as individual sprites or in two sprite sheets. The only sprites I do not have are the "bad guys" (I can try to get them...)  Let me know and I will post a link for you. (I will not be offended if you say no.)

That's pretty cool, but I'm not particularly interested. Also, I'm pretty sure all the textures are on The Spriter's Resource.
