For some reason goggles makes raycasting look more interesting. Also with some fake looking up and down. Maybe switch between different view modes, one showing ghosts and hidden stuff?

That is pretty cool, would go good with treasure hunt and treasure map.  :)

 I think it might be missing images. I was able to walk around, but no action.

Nah, there's no action. I was just messing with that overlay and looking up and down (by rendering to a taller image). I remembered Jurassic Park on the SNES (https://youtu.be/lovWBVm6mdc?t=1m11s), was so impressed by those 3D areas :)
